Able Writers’ day at The Green Way Academy

My first Able Writers’ day of 2019 was a great success.

Thank you to my host school – The Green Way Academy, Hull.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and so did the children – but don’t just take my word for it – read the fantastic comments I received from the children and teachers of all the schools who attended.

‘Children were inspired by meeting a published author and enjoyed gaining advice from Anna’ – Parkstone Primary.

Mr Sharp from Kingswood Parks Primary said, ‘Anna engaged with the children and offered help and advice about their writing’ He also felt Anna’s experience as an author was a real benefit to the children.

Some of the children’s comments were – ‘We usually get told what to write about, or the genre, but today we could choose.’
‘Anna gave us lots of ideas, come back soon. An amazing fun day!’
