Well, Mexico Week is now over with the team enjoying a visit to the Olympic Park on Friday and then returning to Mexico. The function at the Leeds Civic Hall was fabulous with me playing the part of Lady Mayoress – what an honour – followed by a busy day for me in the office, then a quick flight to Spain.
So here I am at my favourite retreat, basking in the sunshine in rural Spain. And whilst the constant mewing of the peacocks and the dogs barking relentlessly on the neighbouring farm, would drive most people nuts, I couldn’t be more content.
I don’t expect to be blogging for a few days whilst I use my time to rest, reflect and no doubt do some planning and writing.
