Well that’s strange! I was firing on all cylinders, racing ahead on a very interesting project, which I know will change lives and empower young people and then suddenly a door slammed in my face, not literally of course, but something I didn’t expect. Now what’s that all about?
Twenty four hours to reflect and I have the revelation. The vision still stands. I realised I was doing the right thing, but at the wrong time, or as some would say, trying to run before I can walk. Uhm!
I would hate to fall flat on my face. Now there’s a thought. Ouch! So, step back. Thinking. Maybe we need a little bit of restructuring here. Off again at a slower pace. Remembering the vision will come to pass at the APPOINTED TIME. I suppose it’s like building a very tall, exclusive apartment block. Something like the Trump Tower in New York City. The foundations are the most important part of the structure. A flaw in the foundations and all will tumble down. So, the door is not closed permanently, but I realised that I and my team were not ready to encounter what was on the other side.
There are so many exciting projects within the Chavos brand that are still in their infancy, the foundations have to be SPOT ON. Have I got the right builders? Do I need more builders? Uhm!
I’m gonna keep on chavosing……. Slowly!
