Just had a crazy two days in London and now crashed out on the train back to Yorkshire. I love that city and it’s just as well because I’m going back for a couple of days next week. I suppose the secret of London is knowing where to go and when, where not to go and what to avoid. I’m learning!
I just love to hail a London cab but, that does get rather expensive after a while. I hate the underground, but don’t mind hopping on a bus when I have to. Thankfully most of my business seems to be localised at the moment and, the weather has been quite mild this last couple of days, so I have enjoyed a few long walks. It’s a shame that I’m not going to be around tonight for the big Christmas light switch on. Ha ha! As if! That is one mad evening I would certainly want to avoid. Nevertheless it will be nice to see the lights next week when I return.
So why the trip to London? Well exciting times lie ahead. We are planning several events for next year including some more school visits, a few book fairs and a very special launch. Not to mention researching the best venue for the London Chavos Ball.
